Our Fertility Services

Advanced Fertility Treatment
Assisted reproductive solutions and artificial insemination are available for those who are having problems conceiving. However, this shall only be resorted to after all the necessary medications have been exhausted.

Dr. Anu Kaur specialises in obstetrics, gynaecology, and reproductive endocrinology. She can help you safely undergo the necessary treatment to achieve a healthy and successful pregnancy.

Fertility Support Services
The clinic will give you all the information you need about fertility and infertility. Dr. Anu Kaur always ensures that her patients understand their conditions and the corresponding solutions. This may be in the form of consultations that require a thorough discussion about your current condition.

Hormone Treatments
At the onset, non-invasive solutions are always advisable for dealing with infertility issues. These may include prescription medicines that stimulate the ovaries into releasing healthy eggs to increase the chances of getting pregnant. Dr. Anu Kaur will prescribe the best medicine suited for your overall health condition.

In Vitro Fertilisation
In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) is a specialised procedure done on women who wish to get pregnant after all the other options have been exhausted. Anyone who’s experiencing prolonged infertility, endometriosis, and malfunctioning fallopian tubes may resort to this method with the most reliable gynaecologist.

IVF involves the collection of eggs from the ovaries which are then fertilised with a donor’s or their partner’s sperm. Afterwards, the embryos will be placed into the uterus.

Infertility Testing and Diagnosis
If the patient has been having a difficult time conceiving for quite a long time, infertility could be the issue. Dr. Anu Kaur can detect infertility by performing ovarian reserve testing, male fertility tests, and genetic screening tests. These are all necessary to diagnose or rule out infertility between partners.

What causes infertility?

Approximately 20 per cent of couples experience fertility difficulties. In most cases, the couple can be helped with assisted reproductive technologies. Around 30 per cent of fertility problems originate in the woman. Female fertility problems include failure to ovulate, blockages in the fallopian tubes, and abnormalities of the uterus such as fibroids and endometriosis.

Another 30 per cent originate in the man and 30 per cent is found in both partners. No cause is found in around one in 10 couples investigated for infertility. This is called ‘unexplained’ or ‘idiopathic infertility.

The odds of a young fertile couple conceiving by having sexual intercourse around the time of ovulation are approximately one in five every month. A couple isn’t considered to have fertility problems until they have tried and failed to conceive for one year.

Causes of female infertility

  • Ovulation problems
  • Polycystic ovary syndrome
  • Problems with the fallopian tubes
  • Problems with the uterus
  • Endometriosis.
  • Diagnosis of female infertility

Investigating suspected infertility requires tests for both the woman and her partner. Tests for the woman may include:

  • Physical examination — including medical history
  • Blood tests — to check for the presence of ovulation hormones
  • Laparoscopy — a ‘keyhole’ surgical procedure in which an instrument is inserted through a small incision in the abdomen so that the reproductive organs can be examined
  • Ultrasound scans — to check for the presence of fibroids.
  • Her male partner’s semen may also be analysed to make sure that he is fertile.

Treatment for female infertility
Treatment options (assisted reproductive technologies, or ART) for female infertility depend on the cause, but may include:
